Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for the Hotel Rene are accepted. The Terms & Conditions below are for bookings made directly via the property’s website or through its alternative direct reservation channels.

By using this Site or  checking in the hotel , you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

We may revise these terms & conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your use of some parts or features of the Site may be governed by additional terms and conditions. Where this is the case you will be notified accordingly of those additional terms and conditions.

Payment Policy and Cancellation Policy

We accept the following methods of payment

_ Credit or debit cards  ,  through   "Alpha e-Commerce"  of Alpha Bank using TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption. 

_Money transfer  to our IBAN company account in Alpha Bank. In this case a proof of deposit has to be sent to our email 

Non Refundable Rates: For non-refundable rooms, if canceled, modified or in case of non show the total price of the reservation will be charged. The total amount can be charged at anytime after reservation.

Standard Rates Low season (27.04-30.05 & 16.09-15.10): A prepayment deposit of  30% of the total amount will be charged when booking . This deposit becomes non refundable 15 days before arrival . For the remaining balance  70%  we send you a payment link 15 days prior to arrival. Non payment of the remaining balance results in booking cancellation. In case of cancellation  within less than  15 days or no-show, a penalty equal to the 100% of the reservation amount will be applied.

Standard Rates High season (01.06-15.09):  A prepayment deposit of 50% of the total amount will be charged when booking . This deposit becomes non refundable 60 days before arrival . For the remaining balance 50%  we sent you a payment link 30 days prior to arrival . Non payment of the remaining balance results in booking cancellation .In case of cancellation of  this booking within less than  60 days or no-show , a penalty equal to the 100% of the reservation amount will be applied. 

_Babies until 3 years old can stay for free in their parents room with the existing bedding . 

_Ages from 3 until 11 years old are considered kids and respective pricing policy applies

_Children above 11 years old are considered adults for pricing reasons 

Government  overnight TAX , renamed since December 2023 to " Fee against the climate crisis " : for Hotel Rene it is 1,50 Euro per room, per night, its not included in the price and its payable cash upon arrival.

Our guests are kindly asked to let us know their estimated time of arrival at least 36 hours ahead. We will be greatly helped in organizing our work and making their check-in smoother and faster. Unless otherwise stated on the Booking Confirmation, guests may check-in on the scheduled day of arrival at any time from 15:00. However, we will gladly arrange your time of check-in to be whenever your time of arrival in Skiathos requires, provided we are notified on time and there is availability .

Check-In / Check-out

On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00, unless a later departure is part of our agreement.  Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and may be charged at the discretion of Hotel Rene. We are obliged by law to require guests at the time of check-in to confirm their identity by showing and letting us copy information from their passport and/or identity card, as well as to provide details of their home address. The information above may be requested for each member of your party and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above. These records can and might be disclosed or made available for inspection to the Greek police ,  tax authorities and to the greek public health authorities  as by applicable law. To avoid delays and comply with the policies against the spread of covid19 we suggest you to proceed via online express check-in in advance  , following the link we send you by email, prior to your arrival. 

Foreign Currency

Payments will be made only in EUR. Other currencies used during the booking procedure are shown only for informative reasons.

The company “ANAGNOSTOPOULOS ANASTASIOS & CO General Partnership” , operating Hotel Rene in Skiathos island , Greece, informs you that it proceeds the following detailed personal data concerning you, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (here in after GDPR) and applicable national law (Law 4624/2019), for the purposes of the contract for the provision of accommodation services

For the provision of the agreed services by the Hotel the following data are collected during my stay at the hotel:

i) Identity and permanent residence data: Name and Surname, Address, ID card number/passport number, Nationality, Date of Birth. ii) Data relating to my stay: room number and type/ date - time of arrival and departure - duration of stay/ information on consumption of goods and / or services / information on departure iii) Payment Method / Data if the charge is made by us: EC-cards, credit cards, debit cards iv) Data related to my preferences / wishes: special wishes regarding food, preferred floor, bed type, or peculiarities. □v) Data / Contact details: residential address (postal address) - email address - phone number □ vi) Information / images obtained through the use of closed television circuits, which operate legally in our premises for security and protection of persons and goods, of which you are informed as soon as you enter these premises from posted signs □

In addition, personal data concerning you (name and surname, "email", mobile / landline, credit card number, preferences information about your stay at the hotel, such as room preferences, eating habits and preferences, status health that requires a special layout of your room, etc.)and which are provided to us and / or transferred to the hotel by online hotel booking operators ("booking engines") and tourist offices, in order to enjoy the services of our hotel, are processed only for the purpose of providing our services to you and for improving our services. Therefore, the collection and processing of personal data concerning you is absolutely necessary for the purposes of fulfilling this contract, which concerns the provision of services of our company to you and is carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 6 paragraph 1point b of the GDPR. The company transmits personal data to other natural or legal persons, to third parties, to whom the company entrusts the processing of personal data on its behalf .In these cases, our hotel remains responsible for the processing of your personal data and specifies the individual details of the processing, takes all necessary technical and organizational measures to protect and secure your personal information and signs a special contract with the persons to whom the processing activities are assigned, in order to ensure that the processing is carried out in accordance with the current legal framework and that any natural person can freely and unhinderedly exercise the rights granted to him by the legal framework.

In addition, the data is transmitted to cooperating third parties for the purpose of sending advertising material and information on products, services and offers. Covid19 Notice and Disclaimer 

Our hotel keep archives with personal data ( name , nationality , date of arrival and departure, residence address, telephone number, email ) of all individuals staying here for public health reasons and future tracing possibility . The collection and further process of that data is mandatory, aims at the prevention of the spread of the virus CoVid-2019 and its based on the legal interest of the hotel to protect the health of its personnel, partners and other customers in accordance with the COVID19 Hygiene Guidelines and  Protocols for the Accommodation Industry as issued by the ministry of Greek Tourism. 

With respect the COVID-19 pandemic and in the event of an infection, all guests checking in at the hotel RENE, acting also on the behalf of their traveling companions and family members, hereby declare the following:

    1. I expressly resign from any right to take legal or other action against the hotel and/or its owners so as to seek any damages or compensation or any kind of remuneration whatsoever.

    2. I will take all necessary steps and actions at my own expenses so as to find and purchase an airline or boat ticket in the event they I need to leave earlier or later than planned. 

    3. I will pay all my expenses for accommodation and meals in the event I have to extend my stay at the hotel due to being placed in quarantine by the authorities. 

Exclusion of Liability

In no event will Hotel Rene and its affiliates be liable for any damages, including without limitation, direct or indirect, special, incidental, moral or consequential damages, loss of profits, opportunities or information or for expenses arising in connection with this website, any software algorithms available on this website, nor with any hyperlinked website or for the use of or the inability to use such material, software algorithms or hyperlinked website by interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure, even if Hotel Rene is advised of the possibility of such damages, losses or expenses. Software algorithms made available and hyperlinks to other Internet resources are at your own risk. The content, accuracy, opinions expressed, and other links provided by these software algorithms and resources are not investigated, verified, monitored, or endorsed by Hotel Rene.

Insurance

Hotel Rene strongly recommends you to purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy include, but not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

Accessibility Hotel Rene, being located on a hill, is not designed for accommodating people with accessibility problems. 

Smoking policy  All rooms in Hotel Rene are NON SMOKING. Its not allowed to smoke in the balconies or terraces of the rooms either . According to the Greek Law breach of the above policy will result to a penalty of 150 Euro for the guest.

Pets  Are not allowed in hotel Rene

Services  We change towels every 2nd day and bedsheets every 3rd day , unless differently instructed by our guests.

Hotel Rene does not control any third party website and is therefore not responsible for the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. Hotel Rene provides such links only as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by Hotel Rene of the linked website or any information contained in it.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The products and/or services described in and available through the site may not be available in your country. We make no representation that the services or products offered in the site are appropriate or available for use in any particular location. The site is operated from Greece and it is governed by the laws of Greece. The courts of  Athens have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising between hotel Rene website users, potential guests, guests and all members of guests’ parties, including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations.

2. Στοιχεία/ Δεδομένα που σχετίζονται με τη διαμονή μου στο ξενοδοχείο: αριθμός και τύπος δωματίου/ημερομηνία-ώρα άφιξης και αναχώρησης- διάρκεια παραμονής/ πληροφορίες για καταναλώσεις αγαθών ή/και υπηρεσιών/ πληροφορίες για αναχώρηση

3. Στοιχεία/ Δεδομένα τρόπου/ μέσου πληρωμής, εφόσον η χρέωση γίνει από εμάς: EC-cards, πιστωτικές κάρτες, χρεωστικές κάρτες

4. Στοιχεία/ Δεδομένα που σχετίζονται με προτιμήσεις/ επιθυμίες μου: ιδιαίτερες επιθυμίες ως προς το φαγητό προτιμώμενος όροφος, τύπος κρεβατιού, ή ιδιαιτερότητες.

Συνεπώς, η συλλογή και επεξεργασία των δεδομένων προσωπικού χαρακτήρα που σας αφορούν είναι απολύτως αναγκαία για τους σκοπούς εκπλήρωσης της εν λόγω σύμβασης, που αφορά στην παροχή υπηρεσιών της εταιρείας μας προς εσάς και διενεργείται σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις του άρθρου 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. β΄ του ΓΚΠΔ. Τα δεδομένα διαβιβάζονται και σε συνεργαζόμενες τρίτες εταιρίες με σκοπό την αποστολή διαφημιστικού υλικού και ενημέρωσης για προϊόντα, υπηρεσίες και προσφορές, με την προϋπόθεση ότι έχει παρασχεθεί συγκατάθεση από κάθε φυσικό πρόσωπο. 1. Άλλες συνεργαζόμενες εταιρίες για την παροχή συναφών υπηρεσιών

2. Πλατφόρμες online κρατήσεων με τις οποίες συνεργάζεται το ξενοδοχείο μας

3. Συμμετοχή σε δραστηριότητα μέσων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης που σχετίζεται με προωθητική ενέργεια του ξενοδοχείου (για παράδειγμα, όταν δηλώνετε ότι σας αρέσει “like” ή κοινοποιείτε “share” μια τέτοια ενέργεια)

Σε περιπτωση που δε συμφωνειτε μπορειτε να επιλεξετε να κανετε χειρογραφο τσεκ ιν και να επιλεξετε τη επιθυμειτε να αποδεδεχθειτε Η οχι .Έχετε το δικαίωμα να ανακαλέσετε οποτεδήποτε τη συγκατάθεσή σας για τους αναφερόμενους στην παρούσα δήλωση σκοπούς, σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις του άρθρου 7 ΓΚΠΔ.

Δηλωση Αποποιησης Ευθυνων του ξενοδοχειου Ρενε

Θα θέλαμε να σας ενημερώσουμε ότι το ξενοδοχείο μας τηρεί αρχείο με τα στοιχεία (όνομα, εθνικότητα, ημερομηνία άφιξης και αναχώρησης, στοιχεία επικοινωνίας διεύθυνση, τηλέφωνο, e-mail) όλων των ατόμων που διαμένουν σε αυτό για λόγους προστασίας της δημόσιας υγείας και ιχνηλάτησης επαφών.

Η συλλογή και περαιτέρω επεξεργασία των δεδομένων αυτών, για σκοπούς πέραν της εξυπηρέτησης της διαμονής σας και τυχόν προώθησης του ξενοδοχείου, πραγματοποιείται και για σκοπούς πρόληψης κατά της διασποράς του ιού nCoV-2019 και βασίζεται στο έννομο συμφέρον του ξενοδοχείου να προστατεύσει την υγεία των εργαζομένων και των λοιπών πελατών και συνεργατών του σε συνδυασμό με την τήρηση των Πρωτοκόλλων υγιεινής και διαχείρισης κρουσμάτων COVID-19 για τις Τουριστικές Επιχειρήσεις που εξεδόθησαν από το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού.

Λογω του χαρακτηρισμου της ασθενειας COVID19 ως πανδημια ο πελατης ( μαζι με οποιοδηποτε τον συνοδευει ) απο τη στιγμη που κανετε check in δηλωνετε οτι :

α) αποποιουμαι του δικαιωματος να προχωρησω σε νομικες απαιτησεις αστικης ευθυνης εναντι του ξενοδοχειου σε περιπτωση που νοσησω εγω η καποιο απο τα ατομα που με συνοδευουν κατα τη διαρκεια της παραμονης μου Η μεταγενεστερα Η ακομα και αν με οποιοδηποτε εμμεσο τροπο επηρεαστει το προγραμμα της παραμονης μου , οπως για παραδειγμα αν αναγκαστω να παραμεινω σε καραντινα στο χωρο του ξενοδοχειου

β) θα μεριμνησω ο ιδιος και με δικα μου εξοδα για το αεροπορικο η ακτοπλοικο εισητηριο επιστροφης μου εμου και των συνοδευομενων απο εμενα προσωπων σε περιπτωση που για οποιοδηποτε λογω αναγκαστω να αλλαξω την ημερομηνια επιστροφης μας και

γ) θα καλυψω το κοστος διαμονης και τα εξοδα διατροφης μου σε περιπτωση περαιτερω αναγκαστικης παραμονης στο ξενοδοχειο .

The website https://hotelrene.gr/ and the hotel Rene are managed by the company “ANAGNOSTOPOULOS ANASTASIOS & CO General Partnership”.
